Produced by Iittala, the New York Edition, exclusive to our MoMA customers, captures the "City of Dreams" in clear glass finished with a specialized iridescent lustre technique developed for this collection. The ethereal, shifting finish mirrors the verticality of Manhattan skyscrapers and the play of light across the avenues at dawn. Each vase is cut, ground, and polished by hand, and has a special 90th anniversary signature. Handcrafted by master glassmakers in Finland, this sculptural vessel honors Aalto’s legacy of drawing inspiration from his global travels, merging a century of Finnish craftsmanship with the constant motion of the modern city.
